​Job Title: Site Safety Supervisor - Onshore Wind (Freelance)

Location: US

Pay Rate: $45-$65 per hour

Our client, a leading renewable energy company based in the US, is seeking an experienced Site Safety Supervisor to oversee the safety aspects of their onshore wind projects. This is a freelance position, and the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all site activities are carried out in compliance with relevant safety regulations and company policies.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement site-specific safety plans and procedures.

  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety requirements.

  • Ensure that all contractors and suppliers comply with safety regulations and company policies.

  • Conduct safety training for site personnel, contractors, and suppliers.

  • Investigate accidents and incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.

  • Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training.

 

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in the onshore wind industry, with at least 3 years' experience as a Site Safety Supervisor.

  • Strong knowledge of relevant safety regulations and industry best practices.

  • Experience developing and implementing site-specific safety plans and procedures.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

  • A degree or certification in safety or a related field.
