Site Manager - Offshore Wind Sector

Contract Opportunity: Site Manager

Location: Normandy, France

Contract Length: 18 months

Day Rate: €650

TGRC, a leader in renewable energy recruitment, is currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee operations at our prestigious offshore wind project based in Normandy. This pivotal role offers the right candidate the opportunity to join a dynamic field in renewable energy on a substantial 18-month contract.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Direct and oversee the construction, maintenance, and operations of the offshore wind facility.

  • Manage onsite staff and contractors, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

  • Coordinate with multiple stakeholders, including engineering teams, project managers, and external contractors, to ensure project timelines are met.

  • Monitor project costs and progress, providing regular updates to senior management.

  • Solve onsite problems effectively, acting as the first point of contact for any onsite issues.

Candidate Profile:

  • Proven experience in managing large-scale construction projects, preferably in the offshore wind sector.

  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage diverse teams in a dynamic offshore environment.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • A robust understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations.

  • Technical background in engineering or relevant field is highly desirable.
