Site Manager – Offshore Wind Project
Location: Choshi, Japan
Contract Duration: 16 months
Hourly Rate: $55-$75 USD
The Green Recruitment Company is excited to partner with a leading Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) firm on a groundbreaking Offshore Wind project. We are currently seeking a dynamic Site Manager to oversee operations in Choshi, Japan.
Role Overview: As the Site Manager, you will be pivotal in ensuring the project's success from initiation to completion. Your role will involve comprehensive management of site operations, focusing on safety, efficiency, and adherence to project timelines and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Direct and oversee the daily operations of the offshore wind project, ensuring compliance with all project specifications and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate project schedules and facilitate task management among teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient workflow and project delivery.
Enforce rigorous safety and quality protocols, conducting regular audits and adjustments as necessary.
Serve as the primary communication link between the site and all project stakeholders, delivering regular updates on progress and critical developments.
Address and resolve challenges on-site, deploying innovative strategies to maintain project momentum and mitigate risks.
Requirements:
Extensive experience managing large-scale offshore wind projects, with demonstrated leadership in similar roles.
Strong ability to lead and inspire a diverse team under challenging conditions.
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Fluency in English; Japanese language skills strongly preferred.
Relevant qualifications in engineering, construction management, or project management.
