​The Green Recruitment Company are working alongside one of Europe’s leading developers of renewable energy projects. They plan, build, operate and maintain wind and solar farms as well as hybrid energy, battery storage, and hydrogen projects in 16 countries on 4 continents.

This role is based in Germany.

The Role

The clients PPA department is a dynamic, creative and innovative team. They aim to redesign the electricity marketing of renewable energies towards a world of PPAs and direct deliveries to industrial companies. You will promote the energy transition in a targeted manner with end consumers.

The successful candidate will

• Be an expert for regulatory and market developments in Germany

• Concludes PPA contracts for open space PV systems, hybrid systems and wind systems with energy suppliers and industrial companies

• Design and structure PPAs (including electricity marketing, commercial contract terms, sleeving) in Germany to expand across business countries

• Identify and build business relationships with industrial companies in Germany with ESG and procurement targets for electricity from renewable energies

• Participate in PPA tenders

• Identify and build business relationships with external partners in Germany who offer services for the marketing of electricity from renewable energies

• Work closely with the German financing team

Candidate requirements

• Have relevant professional experience in the field of electricity procurement/PPA completion for industrial companies or end users, PPA origination, and/or electricity trading

• Understand the German energy markets and their regulations

• Have an existing network of contacts to energy suppliers, dealers and industrial companies in Germany and have already successfully concluded marketing contracts (electricity supply, PPA, HKN, etc.)

• You are fluent in German and English, knowledge of French is an advantage

• You work independently, are solution-oriented and have a practical mind

• Are ready for business trips at home and abroad
