Senior Project Manager - Planning and Environmental - Renewable Energy Projects

My client are a leading Irish utility, looking to transform their business focus through investment into a portfolio of Irish renewable energy projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the delivery of Planning and Environmental Impact Assessment Report/Appropriate Assessment applications/assessments for specific Renewable Energy projects.

Duties Include

• Leading and managing the planning process for Renewable energy project up to the point of consenting
• Developing and informing the Business Unit Strategy to Planning and Environmental Compliance issues 
• Lead the implementation of protocols for effective engagement with key stakeholders, including all relevant statutory and non-statutory consultees relevant to the planning processes

The ideal candidate will be:

• Honours Degree in in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering or equivalent;
• Significant experience in leading/inputting to projects in planning applications and environmental
• licencing/environmental impact assessment or other consenting processes. An emphasis on Power
• Generation (Renewable) and related infrastructure, or SID projects desirable but not essential;
