​The Green Recruitment Company are delighted to have partnered with a new, Battery Storage Developer, to identify a new, Senior Project Development Manager to oversee the engineering, procurement and construction of its large-scale energy storage assets currently in development.

The business to date, have secured 2.5GW of Grid Connections, of a targeted 3GW within the United Kingdom for BESS Projects & have secured investment from two exceptional & well-known clean-energy funders.

Responsibilities;

• Land analysis for project development locations

• Landowner negotiation and relationship management for land acquisition

• Managing all stakeholders in the planning process, from community to landowners, consultants and case officers

• Be confident in taking projects from zero through to planning approval

• Interface with development teams such as engineers, consultants, and colleagues across all relevant disciplines

• Project management and reporting.

Requirements;

• Have 5+ years relevant industry experience including development phase

• Be highly self-motivated, organised and capable of working pro-actively alone

• Be focused on achieving net zero

Knowledge & understanding of;

• large-scale renewables and/or infrastructure project development, preferably HV

• Landowner negotiation and land acquisition

• Planning policy and process, at local and national level, across UK (Scotland and England)

• Stakeholder (landowners, community, case officers, politicians) and consultant (planning, studies, engineering) management
