​Job title: Senior Project Developer - Solar and Wind

Location: Berlin, Germany (Hybrid)

They are looking for a Senior Project Developer - Solar and Wind to take the initiative and to contribute to society as a whole. Committed participants are cordially invited to join this project.

The company brings these three key components together and relies on a flat hierarchy and fast decision-making processes to actively contribute to the realization of a sustainable energy transition.

Tasks:

• Taking over secured (solar and/or wind) projects from colleagues in land acquisition as senior project developers.

• Control of all approval and planning steps to achieve construction readiness.

• Ensuring planning rights for transferred projects through dialogue with planning authorities and approval authorities.

• Initiation and coordination of studies in collaboration with specialist colleagues (approval, yield, technical planning, GIS).

• Selection of service providers and experts to carry out the necessary studies.

• Communication with all project participants, presentation of the projects in local council meetings and holding information events.

• Creation of schedules and project budgets for efficient project planning.

• Continuous monitoring of the profitability and risks of the assigned projects.

• Building relationships with various stakeholders, including municipalities, districts, approval authorities, TÖBs and land owners.

• Ensuring transparent and effective communication throughout the project development process.

Qualifications:

• At least five years of professional experience in successful project development for solar and/or wind projects with proven success/approvals.

• Successful completion of a degree in a technical or planning discipline, such as engineering, renewable energies, geography, urban/spatial/environmental/landscape planning, geography, etc.

• Moreover, enjoy communicating with project participants and skill in negotiations.

• Building a resilient network and excellent knowledge of the competitive environment in the region.

• Independent and results-oriented way of working.

• In addition, willingness to travel, especially within your region.

• Furthermore, team-oriented working style.

• In addition, good knowledge of German is required.
