Role: Senior Manager, EV Portfolio Finance

Location: United States (Remote)

The Senior Manager, EV Portfolio Finance; you will play a pivotal role in establishing and growing the Portfolio Finance function. This individual is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and executing structured financing, which may include project sales, leases, construction financing, term debt, and tax equity financing. This role requires an individual who thrives in a dynamic and collaborative environment, working closely with internal and external teams to meet transaction deadlines.

They provide a comprehensive suite of services that simplify and reduce the cost of transitioning from diesel to electric vehicles, contributing to the clean energy transition.

Responsibilities:

  • Firstly, manage credit facilities, including Letter of Credit issuances and surety bonds.

  • Oversee all aspects of project and portfolio financings, including support for refinancing opportunities, covenant compliance, and timely reporting.

  • In addition, manage tax equity and debt funding at mechanical and substantial completion.

  • Provide advice and transaction support to deal with execution teams in the structuring and execution of financing.

  • Moreover, establish, manage and drive the collection process for grant/rebate funding.

  • Perform asset management activities to maximize the financial performance of operating assets.

  • Additionally, work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues in compliance with corporate objectives and financing covenants.

  • Partner with asset management and leadership teams to navigate contract amendments, consents, and waivers.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in asset and portfolio management within the energy or infrastructure.

  • Ability to review and understand contracts, including technical, financial, and legal concepts related to major infrastructure projects.

  • Furthermore, strong financial modeling experience in energy.

  • Lastly, Microsoft Excel (financial modeling), and Microsoft Office.
