Job title: Senior Grid Engineer

Location: Poland (Remote)

As a Senior Grid Engineer (m/f/d) in the Renewable Grid Engineering team, you will play a key role in the development of grid infrastructure for new and existing renewable energy projects across Europe.

The company is instrumental in the realisation of solar PV and wind onshore projects across Europe. As an established, internationally active utility company, our client favours sustainable energy sources and is planning extensive investments in renewable energies.

Tasks

  • Design and implementation of grid infrastructures for solar, wind and battery storage projects

  • Assessment and creation of technical requirements, designs and diagrams

  • Cost calculations and determination of the technical scope

  • Participation in the development and realisation of renewable energy projects

  • Communication with grid operators and other stakeholders

  • Compliance with European technical norms and standards and legal requirements

  • Cooperation with DNO/TNOs to secure grid connections and project optimisation

  • Monitoring and coordination of external technical services

  • Archiving and dissemination of technical documentation

Requirements

  • University degree in electrical engineering, energy systems or related field

  • At least 8 years experience in electrical network engineering, ideally in high and low voltage systems, protection, cabling, transformers, switchgear, SCADA, system studies, network studies or CAD design, commissioning, substation network commissioning

  • Proven focus on grid systems (university work, internship, academic achievements)

  • Ability to solve complex tasks

  • Efficient communication and good stakeholder management

  • Good German language skills are highly appreciated

  • English at least C1 level is required

  • Other European language skills are an advantage

  • Willingness to occasionally travel internationally

  • Ability to work independently and in a team
