Based in Antwerp, this contract role is integral to a leading transmission specialist's efforts in renewable energy and green hydrogen projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed geophysical surveys and analyses for offshore cable and pipe installations.

• Create models and simulations to predict and address geological challenges.

• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to incorporate geophysical findings into comprehensive engineering solutions.

• Offer technical guidance and mentorship to junior geophysicists and broader project teams.

• Generate extensive reports and provide strategic insights for project advancements.

Requirements

• Extensive background in geophysics, particularly in offshore environments.

• Skilled in the application of geophysical instrumentation and software tailored to subsea engineering.

• Strong analytical abilities with a capacity to interpret intricate geological data.

• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, capable of leading teams and project stakeholders.

• A Master’s degree or higher in Geophysics, Earth Sciences, or related field is essential.
