​Job Title: Senior Geophysicist/Deliverables Coordinator for Offshore Wind Energy Projects

Location: Scotland (and up to 12 nautical miles out to sea)

Duration: 12-18 months (Contract Role)

Day Rate: £550-£600

We are currently working with a leading firm specialising in offshore cable and pipelaying for the wind energy sector. Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Geophysicist/Deliverables Coordinator to join their team in Scotland.

Responsibilities:

• Coordination and supervision of geophysical surveys for offshore wind energy projects

• Data processing and interpretation of MBES, SSS, SBP, and MAG ROTV data

• Management of deliverables and quality assurance of survey results

• Collaboration with project teams to identify potential geophysical risks and develop mitigation strategies

• Ensuring compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations and guidelines

• Liaising with stakeholders including regulatory authorities, contractors, and other geophysical professionals

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Geophysics or a related field

• Proven experience in geophysical surveys for offshore wind energy projects

• Strong knowledge of SSS, SBP, and MAG data processing and interpretation

• Ability to manage deliverables and ensure quality control of survey results

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders

• Valid certifications with a minimum of 6 months left and the right to work in the UK
