Become an integral part of this exciting young company, who is backed by a large infrastructure investment fund and focuses on the full lifecycle of renewable energy projects and is currently actively developing projects in Germany, Italy, Spain, UK and the Netherlands. As Senior EPC Manager focusing on our international EPC activities you will assume construction preparation and construction supervision responsibilities, support site visits and conduct technical due diligence of exciting projects.

The Role:

• Preparation and supervision of international large scale Solar projects starting with engineering to procurement and construction (EPC)
• Leading the design process focusing on the optimal combination between costs and yield resulting in low LCOE
• EPC contractor selection process through defining and conducting thorough RFPs
• Ensure all EPC contract obligations are transferred to the key suppliers
• Assist in negotiations with all suppliers and subcontractors
• Accountability for delivering project on time and within budget
• Preparation of construction progress reports highlighting potential risks in terms of delays and costs

Person Specification:

• Master’s degree in in engineering preferably related to energy, mechanical or electrical
• More than 5 years of working experience within the solar industry
• Proven track record in successfully managing Engineering, Procurement and Construction phases of large power projects in the Solar industry
• Familiar with RFP
• Excellent knowledge of PVSyst/PVSol
• Good knowledge of MS Project
• Good understanding of HSE requirements
• Available for international travel
• Good level of English and German. Other languages like Italian, Spanish are a plus.
