The Senior Account Manager will be responsible for upselling sustainability services and must have C-suite presentation and Flex contract procurement skills.
As the Senior Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing and nurturing key client relationships in the UK and EU. Your primary focus will be on understanding our clients' energy needs, ensuring their satisfaction, and identifying opportunities to expand our services. The Senior Account Manager will be responsible for the following:
Managing the company's existing client base together with upselling sustainability services
Developing new clients in the UK and EU markets along with delivering C-suite presentations
Moreover, procuring flex contracts in addition to managing client accounts
Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized solutions that meet clients' evolving needs.
Developing and maintaining long-term client relationships while providing excellent customer service
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their business goals and energy requirements.
Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring overall client satisfaction.
Work closely with clients to develop strategic energy plans aligned with their business objectives.
Provide insights and recommendations on energy efficiency, cost savings, and sustainability initiatives.
Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and market dynamics affecting clients.
Lastly, share relevant information with clients to help them make informed decisions.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
Proven experience in a senior account management role within the energy consultancy or related industry.
Excellent client management skills together with strong communication and interpersonal skills
In-depth knowledge of the energy sector, including energy procurement, sustainability, and regulatory compliance.
C-suite presentation and flex contract procurement skills
In addition, sales and marketing skills
Furthermore, excellent client service skills
Strong organisational and time management skills
Lastly, the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
The successful candidate will be required to work remotely, with 3 days a month in the office.
The ability to speak an EU language is desirable but not essential.
