​We are on the hunt for an experienced SCADA/Data Software Engineer to join our team.

Our new SCADA Engineer will be responsible for installing, integrating, maintaining, and managing SCADA hardware and software and performance analytics tools. This responsibility ranges from site-specific SCADA as well as primary responsibility for our remote monitoring systems, SCADA overlay, and designing and managing tools to optimize the operational performance of our operating energy storage systems.

MINIMUM SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or similar quantitative discipline if/where applicable.

  • 10 years of experience managing, designing, programming, and/or troubleshooting SCADA systems, remote operations centers, and/or big data analytics, preferably within the energy industry.

  • Familiarity with electrical substation equipment, including relays, meters, controllers, and firewalls. Familiarity with electric power industry data and reporting requirements (NERC, ISO/RTO, etc.)

  • Proficiency with data analysis and reporting.

  • Database experience (OSIsoft PI, SQL).

  • Programming language proficiency (Python, C).

  • Proficiency with communication protocols DNP3, Modbus.

  • Proficiency with Visio or similar programs to develop schematics and diagrams.

  • Prior experience in developing and maintaining written reports, operational metrics, and key performance indicators.

  • Project management experience

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications.
