Founded in 2010, The Green Recruitment Company (TGRC) is a global specialist recruitment business operating across renewable energy, green finance, and green technology markets. Headquartered in London Waterloo, with international offices across Europe, North America, Africa and Asia, TGRC is entering a new phase of international growth.
To support this growth, we are looking for a commercially credible Sales Performance Trainer to strengthen consistency, raise standards, and improve performance across our recruitment teams.
The Role
This is a hands-on, practical role focused on aligning business development activity, recruitment delivery standards, and KPI performance. The successful candidate will be someone who understands what it takes to win new business, generate leads, source candidates, and close deals — and can demonstrate those skills in practice, not just theory.
This role will work closely with Directors and Sales Managers to embed consistent methodology, improve CRM discipline, and challenge underperformance where required.
Initially structured as a 3–4 day per week position, with scope to evolve as the business scales.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales Standards
Align BD activity across the recruitment teams to ensure consistent prospecting standards and call quality
Coach consultants on lead generation, referrals, objection handling and closing
Conduct live call coaching and deal reviews
Support the embedding of our structured Competency Development Programme (CDP)
Recruitment Delivery Excellence
Improve standards in candidate sourcing, screening and qualification
Coach consultants on candidate control, shortlisting quality and client presentation
Ensure strong alignment between client acquisition and candidate pipeline management
CRM & Process Discipline
Drive consistent and effective use of the CRM (Loxo)
Improve data quality, activity tracking and pipeline visibility
Reinforce disciplined process across BD and delivery workflows
KPI Monitoring & Performance Challenge
Monitor agreed sales and recruitment KPIs
Identify performance gaps and areas for improvement
Challenge consultants who are not meeting expected activity or performance standards
Work with Sales Managers to support targeted performance improvement plans
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in recruitment sales and business development
Personally credible in making BD calls, generating leads and building client relationships
Strong understanding of both client acquisition and candidate sourcing
Comfortable challenging performance and holding individuals accountable
Commercial mindset with strong analytical skills
Experience using CRM systems (experience with Loxo beneficial)
