​Our client is a rapidly expanding, investor-backed professional services organisation operating within the sustainability and energy performance space. They support medium to large UK businesses with strategic solutions that improve environmental impact, regulatory compliance, and commercial efficiency. With a broad portfolio of advisory and technical services, the business is continuing to grow its national footprint.

The Role

This is a regional, field-based business development role focused on generating and securing new B2B clients across the Southwest. Reporting to senior commercial leadership, you will take ownership of territory planning, pipeline creation, and closing new opportunities through a consultative, value-led approach.

You will be supported by an internal SDR function and lead generation tools, allowing you to focus on high-quality engagement and relationship building with decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets

  • Develop and implement a clear territory growth plan for the Southwest

  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified prospects

  • Lead structured, consultative sales processes with senior stakeholders

  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth transition from sale to onboarding

  • Maintain accurate CRM records and effectively manage your sales funnel

  • Drive urgency and maximise commercial value at closing stage

Skills & Experience

Essential:

  • Consistent track record of new business development and quota achievement

  • Experience in consultative, solution-based B2B sales

  • Exposure to selling into larger organisations with complex buying structures

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills

  • Self-driven, organised, and commercially focused mindset

  • Confident user of CRM systems

  • Interest in sustainability, ESG, or environmental performance improvement

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in energy, sustainability, or compliance-related services

  • Ideally from renewables, consultancy, or tech backgrounds
