Key Responsibilities:
Formulate and implement comprehensive sales and market penetration strategies for PV modules targeting the Australian distributed generation (commercial, industrial, residential) sector. Be fully responsible for achieving and exceeding annual targets for sales revenue, cash flow, market share growth, and new customer acquisition.
Proactively gather, analyze, and leverage market intelligence on competitor activities, pricing trends, regulatory changes, and emerging channel opportunities. Utilize these insights to inform strategic decisions, identify new business potential, and maintain a competitive edge.
Identify, recruit, and develop strong relationships with new channel partners (distributors, installers). Simultaneously, cultivate and strategically manage long-term relationships with key accounts, ensuring high satisfaction and loyalty through detailed account planning and precise CRM management.
Oversee the entire sales contract process from negotiation to fulfillment and compliance. Act as the primary point for resolving customer issues, leading coordination with internal teams (Technical, Quality, Legal, Finance) to address challenges related to product, delivery, or contracts promptly and effectively.
Identify and analyze unique customer requirements and feedback on product specifications and performance. Synthesize market needs into actionable recommendations for the Product Development team, supporting the creation and validation of new products that align with market demands.
Qualifications:
3-7 years of experience in sales, business development, or market analysis, within the solar PV industry.
Proven track record in sales and channel development, specifically in the Australian solar market.
Strong understanding of PV module products, technical specifications, and applications in distributed generation (DG) segments.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to conduct market research and translate data into strategic actions.
Outstanding communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently in a remote setting.
Willingness to travel as required.
