About the Company
Our client is a leading Chinese Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) with a strong global reputation in the renewable energy sector. The company specialises in high-quality components for solar PV, wind, and energy storage systems and partners with developers, EPCs, and utilities worldwide to deliver cost-effective, reliable clean energy solutions.
To support growth in Central Asia, the company is now seeking a Sales Manager based in Uzbekistan to drive regional sales and deepen client relationships across the renewable energy value chain.
Role Overview
The Sales Manager will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and expanding market presence in Uzbekistan and neighbouring Central Asian countries. The successful candidate will work closely with EPCs, developers, and government-backed energy stakeholders to promote the company’s renewable energy product portfolio. Experience in international sales or cross-border business will be highly valued.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement sales strategies tailored to Uzbekistan and the broader Central Asian renewable energy market
Identify, approach, and manage relationships with EPCs, developers, distributors, and utilities
Promote the company’s full range of renewable energy products including inverters, mounting systems, transformers, and storage components
Respond to client enquiries and tender invitations with accurate, technically aligned proposals
Represent the company at regional trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events
Stay informed on market conditions, regulatory changes, and competitor activities in Central Asia
Work closely with internal teams to coordinate pricing, delivery schedules, and after-sales service
Prepare and maintain sales reports, forecasts, and client feedback for internal stakeholders
Meet or exceed agreed sales targets and contribute to regional market development
Candidate Requirements
3–5 years of B2B sales or business development experience, ideally in renewable energy or infrastructure sectors
Experience selling into Central Asia or emerging markets preferred
Strong technical understanding of energy components or systems
Excellent communication and negotiation skills; comfortable engaging with international clients
Self-driven with a proactive, results-oriented approach to business development
Fluent in English; Russian and/or Mandarin language skills are an asset
Based in Uzbekistan or willing to relocate
