The Green Recruitment company is working with one of Europe's leading developers of renewable energy projects, a company that plans, builds, operates, and maintains wind and solar farms, as well as hybrid energy, battery storage, and hydrogen projects across 16 countries on 4 continents. With a workforce of over 1,000 dedicated colleagues, they are committed to climate protection and a sustainable energy supply. With an impressive annual investment of about 500 million euros, they have successfully realized projects with a total capacity of approximately 5 gigawatts. Their team of more than 900 employees worldwide is involved in site acquisition, planning, engineering, financing, and construction of wind and solar energy plants, as well as battery storage projects, ensuring operational management and maintenance. Currently, they are actively seeking talented individuals to strengthen their renewable sales team.

Your tasks

• To be an internal “Centre of Expertise” for energy and electricity market in Hungary.

• Identify corporates in Hungary, who have implemented or are about to define a renewable procurement or ESG strategy and could be possible power off-takers for projects in both countries.

• Build-up, maintain and develop business relationships with such corporate.

• Identify, facility and execute power purchase agreements (as well as all necessary accompanying contracts) with corporate off-takers to enable financing of the underlying renewable project(s).

• Track and derive impact on relevant regulatory changes on corporate consumption and supply matters, as well as of all market design topics.

• Build-up and develop relationships to external partners (aggregators, trading houses, consultants) offering services/support on the marketing of renewables power.

• Collaborate with local finance and development team to be up to date to the status of the project pipeline in each country and align on electricity (+ all other revenue streams) sales strategy.

Your profile

• Relevant work experience in Hungarian markets.

• Existing network of corporate contacts in Hungary.

• Track-record of successfully closed contracts (power supply, standard power, GOs, PPAs).

• Fluent in Hungarian and English (spoken and written).

• Passionate about renewable energies and storage.

• Self-driven, solution oriented and hands-on mentality.
