​Title: Renewable Civil Engineer

Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States (On-site)

A national engineering consultancy is hiring an experienced Civil Engineer to work within their Renewable Energy team. With multiple offices across the country, the candidate will work on a hybrid schedule from a local site. Remote options are available in certain circumstances. Preference will be shown to candidates with E.I.T. or PE licenses and a background in renewable energy.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with project managers to establish project timelines and designs.

• Develop diagrams and visual aids and prepare design specifications.

• Execute project based on outlined criteria.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering

• 3+ years of civil engineering experience related to site design, land development and land use permitting on Utility Scale Solar, Wind, BESS and Hydrogen sites

• Experience with AutoCAD

• Strong organizational, analytical, communication skills and design skills

• E.I.T or working towards a PE license
