Job Title: QSHE Manager (Offshore) - 6 Months Contract
Location: United Kingdom
Industry: Renewable Energy
TGRC is currently seeking an experienced QSHE (Quality, Safety, Health, and Environment) Manager (Offshore) on behalf of our client, a leading renewable energy Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). This is a 6-month contract role with competitive day rates, requiring offshore certifications and past experience working with Siemens equipment.
Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain QSHE management systems and processes for offshore renewable energy projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and legal requirements
Collaborate with project teams to identify and assess potential risks, implementing effective risk mitigation strategies
Oversee the planning and execution of site safety inspections, audits, and incident investigations, taking corrective actions as necessary
Lead and support the development of safety training programs and materials for on-site personnel, promoting a culture of safety awareness and compliance
Coordinate with cross-functional teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration on QSHE-related matters
Monitor and report on project performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices
Ensure all work is conducted in accordance with health, safety, environmental, and quality regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
Manage relationships with clients, regulatory authorities, and other relevant parties, providing regular updates on QSHE performance
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health, Safety Management, or a related field
Minimum of [number] years of experience in QSHE management within the offshore renewable energy sector
Past experience working with Siemens equipment is essential
Valid offshore certifications, such as BOSIET, FOET, or GWO
In-depth knowledge of industry-specific QSHE regulations, standards, and best practices
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing project requirements
Flexibility to travel to offshore locations as needed
