QA/QC Manager - Utility Scale Solar PV
Job Overview
TGRC invites you to apply for the role of QA/QC Manager for a leading utility-scale solar PV project based in Tennessee. This 12-month contract position offers an attractive hourly wage of $60-$80. We are seeking a detail-oriented professional with a proven track record in overseeing quality assurance and control in construction or renewable energy projects, especially within the solar industry.
Responsibilities
Quality Assurance Strategy: Implement and refine quality assurance standards and procedures specific to utility-scale solar PV projects. Ensure all project phases adhere to established quality and performance benchmarks.
Quality Control Operations: Lead rigorous inspections and regular audits to ensure compliance with project specifications. Direct the identification, documentation, and resolution of quality issues.
Documentation Mastery: Maintain impeccable records of quality assessments, corrective actions, and compliance efforts. Prepare and present detailed reports to project stakeholders.
Team Leadership and Training: Manage and mentor a team of quality control inspectors, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and professional growth.
Safety and Compliance Vigilance: Uphold the strictest health and safety standards, ensuring all project activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
Qualifications
Experience: 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance/control, preferably within the construction or renewable energy sectors, with a strong emphasis on solar power projects.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a closely related field.
Certifications: Must possess all relevant Health & Safety qualifications; additional qualifications in Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001) are preferred.
Skills: Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage complex projects.
Compensation
