QA/QC Manager - Utility Scale Solar PV - Georgia

Job Overview

TGRC is excited to announce an exceptional opportunity for a QA/QC Manager in the renewable energy sector, focusing on utility-scale solar PV projects in Georgia. This role offers a 12-month contract with a competitive hourly rate of $60-$80. We are looking for a meticulous and experienced professional dedicated to ensuring the highest standards of quality in ground breaking solar energy developments.

Responsibilities

  • Quality Assurance Strategy: Establish and maintain quality assurance policies and procedures tailored to the specific needs of utility-scale solar PV projects. Ensure that all project activities meet or exceed industry quality standards.

  • Quality Control Execution: Conduct thorough inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project specifications. Identify, document, and resolve any quality issues, ensuring corrective measures are effectively implemented.

  • Documentation and Compliance: Keep detailed records of all quality assessments, corrective actions, and compliance measures. Prepare comprehensive reports for project stakeholders and regulatory bodies.

  • Team Leadership and Capacity Building: Oversee and develop a team of quality control specialists, enhancing their skills and knowledge through ongoing training and support.

  • Safety and Environmental Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations, promoting a culture of safety and responsibility on the project site.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance/control, preferably within the construction or renewable energy sector, with substantial exposure to solar energy projects.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.

  • Certifications: Must hold all relevant Health & Safety qualifications; additional certifications in Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001) are advantageous.

  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and proven leadership qualities. Must be proficient in using project management and quality assurance software.

Compensation

This role offers an hourly rate between $60 and $80, depending on experience and qualifications. It is a contract position with the potential for further engagement based on performance and project evolution.
