Project Manager – Onshore Wind - Construction / Balance of Plant (BOP) – Saudi Arabia
My client, a global leading EPC, are seeking a Wind Project Manager – BOP (Civil Construction). Prohject over 1.5GW+. The suitable candidate will be 100% site based in Western Saudi Arabia.
Salary Starting at $15,000 + accommodation + flights + transport.
The ‘Wind Project Manager, BOP’ will be responsible for overseeing and managing the successful execution of over 250 wind turbine foundations (from the contractor side), specifically focusing on the balance of plant (BOP) aspects. This will involve coordinating and leading cross-functional teams, managing resources, and ensuring compliance with project timelines, budgets, and quality standards. The Project Manager will also be responsible for communicating with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
End to end responsible for the Physical delivery of the Project as per contractual commitments with required HSE/Quality Standards and within cost provisions.
To be customer centric and to ensure very good relations with client and consultants.
Able to coordinate with all stake holders, viz., Client, Consultants, Engineering, Procurement, Contracts, Project Team from other disciplines, Sub contractors, MEP works, Finishing, etc., to ensure zero abortive works and zero defects /snags.
Your Profile:
Graduate in Engineering with 15+ years and with minimum 3 years of experience in Infrastructure Projects involving Heavy foundations including Wind Turbine Foundations
Should be familiar with Heavy foundations including Wind Turbine Foundations, Heavy Equipment Erection Pads, Roads, Drains, Culverts, etc.,
Substantial experience in construction using mechanized construction techniques.
Experience in managing Finances including project P&L and Contract Management
Experience across the whole project lifecycle (Engineering, Procurement, Construction,
Installation/Commissioning and Close out).
