About the Company: Our client is a reputable renewable energy business with a strong focus on sustainability and innovation. They are at the forefront of hydrogen production and are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team in California on a contractual basis.

Job Description: As a Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in the planning, execution, and successful delivery of hydrogen production projects in California. You will be responsible for overseeing all project aspects, from initiation to completion, ensuring that the project is executed efficiently, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables.

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.

• Identify and manage project risks, issues, and changes, and implement effective mitigation strategies.

• Lead project teams, providing guidance and support to ensure project goals are met.

• Monitor project progress, track milestones, and report on project status to stakeholders.

• Coordinate procurement of materials, equipment, and services required for project execution.

• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.

• Manage project finances, including budget allocation and cost control.

• Foster effective communication and collaboration among project team members and stakeholders.

• Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in renewable energy or hydrogen production projects.

• Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop and execute project plans and schedules.

• Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively lead project teams and interact with stakeholders.

• Proficiency in project management software and tools.

• Familiarity with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards relevant to hydrogen production projects.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
