TGRC are working with a growing Renewable Energy Developer backed by one of the largest Infrastructure Investors in the world with nearly €5bn in AUM. Focusing on solar and operating across the full project life cycle in countries such as the UK, Italy, Spain, Germany and Austria, they are now seeking a Project Finance Associate to become an integral part of their growth in the coming years.

Location: Karlsruhe

German and English language skills essential.

The role:

• Initiate, develop and manage relationships with banks and other lenders in the energy markets

• Manage the structuring and negotiations of financings

• Review project documentation, including PPAs, financing term sheets and loan documentation

• Lead financial closing processes under tight deadlines

• Lead on the development of project finance models for internal and external parties to evaluate renewable energy projects on an individual and portfolio basis

• Manage project valuation tasks in close co-operation with the M&A Team

• Manage covenant and reporting requirements

Your profile:

• At least 3 years of previous experience from the banking/energy industry focusing on real assets acquisitions/transactions, project/corporate finance

• Extensive network established throughout various transactions within the banking community

• Extremely familiar with project finance structures, including partnership flips, construction financing, and back-leverage

• Ability to lead and deliver on financial closes for high value business transactions under tight timeframes; investment banking experience a plu
