Job description
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise self-perform & subcontractors on construction sites; be willing to travel and be temporarily assigned to remote sites during the construction phase.
Provide support for sales and preconstruction services.
Provide support for project scope development and estimating.
Provide support for project buy-out, project management, and project close-out.
Allocate resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure smooth project operations.
Lead project schedules, productivity tracking, field reporting.
Provide leadership and support developing efficient, high-level job site safety culture.
Develop and maintain relationships with key customers, designers, and construction partners.
SKILLS
Working knowledge of electrical systems.
Willingness to travel as needed for projects and be temporarily assigned during construction phase.
Demonstrate positive leadership, customer focus, estimating, and project management skills.
Knowledge of safety best practices and procedures.
Strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office.
Ability to be dynamic, prioritize, handle multiple tasks and respond quickly to requests of customers, superintendents and construction partners.
Ability to identify client needs and bid and manage the work from conceptual stage through completion.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt to unique job requirements.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Two-Five (2-5) or more years’ experience working in the solar industry; construction experience with electrical focus preferred
Successful history of managing multiple projects and customers simultaneously
A bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Civil, Mechanical, Electrical engineering preferred
