Job description

  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks across all project phases while ensuring prompt issue resolution through collaborative decision-making with all stakeholders.

  • Oversee full project lifecycle from planning to handover, maintaining strict adherence to timelines, quality benchmarks, and budgetary requirements.

  • Guide contractual agreements and change management processes in consultation with legal and business partners to safeguard project integrity.

  • Maintain transparent communication channels with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure unified project vision and deliverables.

  • Foster a harmonious team environment through mentorship, clear role definition, and collective accountability for project success.

  • Monitor project economics with precision, implementing cost optimization measures while ensuring financial compliance.

  • Cultivate enduring partnerships with clients and subcontractors through meticulous attention to requirements and service excellence.

  • Strictly observe all safety protocols (EHS), ethical guidelines, and local regulatory standards throughout project execution.

Job Requirements

  • 7+ years of project management experience in wind energy/construction (OEM experience preferred)

  • Expertise in risk management, contract negotiation, quality control and financial management

  • Proven ability to lead multiple complex projects with cross-functional teams

  • Business-level English and Japanese proficiency (both written and spoken)

  • PMP/IPMA certification and wind industry knowledge preferred

  • Willingness to travel 50%+ and relevant engineering/technical degree
