​Title: Project Development Manager - Solar PV

Location: England, United Kingdom (Hybrid)

TGRC has partnered with a prominent renewable energy company committed to driving the transition to sustainable energy solutions. With a significant focus on solar photovoltaic (PV) projects, we aim to develop, construct, and operate solar farms across the UK. Their mission is to promote clean energy, reduce carbon footprints, and contribute to a greener future.

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Solar PV Project Developer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing solar PV projects from initial site selection through to construction and commissioning, ensuring successful delivery within budget and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and evaluate potential sites for solar PV development.

  • Conduct feasibility studies, including resource assessment, grid connection analysis, and environmental impact assessments.

  • Secure land agreements and manage landowner relationships.

  • Navigate the planning and permitting process, obtaining all necessary approvals from local authorities and regulatory bodies.

  • Liaise with legal teams to manage contracts and agreements.

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.

  • Coordinate with engineering teams to design optimal solar PV systems.

  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including landowners, local communities, government agencies, and utilities.

  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial performance and cost control.

  • Identify and secure project financing, including grants, subsidies, and investment opportunities.

  • Conduct financial analysis and reporting to support decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, renewable energy, environmental science, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in developing and managing solar PV projects, with a strong understanding of the UK renewable energy market.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements, environmental standards, and health and safety practices related to solar PV projects.

  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
