TGRC is partnering exclusively with a leading Energy-as-a-Service provider committed to delivering innovative, sustainable infrastructure solutions. This organization specializes in deploying energy efficiency and clean energy technologies across large commercial real estate portfolios.
As a rapidly growing player in the energy transition space, our client offers a collaborative, mission-driven culture with a clear focus on innovation, customer success, and operational excellence.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated Program Manager to lead the planning and execution of complex mechanical, energy and infrastructure programs. This role will be pivotal in managing vendor teams, budgets, timelines, and customer relationships while ensuring the successful delivery of multi-technology projects (including HVAC, solar, and emerging clean energy solutions).
The ideal candidate is a strategic and hands-on who thrives in fast-paced, customer-facing environments and has experience managing multiple concurrent programs with diverse scopes.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Ownership: Lead programs from kickoff through closeout, driving planning, execution, and delivery across timelines and workstreams.
Customer Relationship Management: Serve as the primary liaison for customers, ensuring satisfaction, transparency, and alignment with project goals.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with internal teams (engineering, finance, sales, legal) to deliver results that meet or exceed client expectations.
Vendor & Budget Oversight: Manage third-party vendors and contractors, oversee procurement and invoicing workflows, and ensure margin preservation.
Reporting & Communication: Deliver high-quality program reports, KPIs, and escalation updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
Strategic Program Delivery: Define key objectives and success metrics for programs, mitigate risks proactively, and ensure alignment with business unit strategy.
Process & Quality Management: Support best practices in construction quality, safety standards, and program-level process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
Proven experience leading programs in energy services, construction management, or related fields.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; adept at managing relationships with external clients and internal teams.
Demonstrated expertise in vendor coordination, contract review, budget tracking, and risk management.
A proactive problem-solver with the ability to interpret and respond to complex operational challenges.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree required (Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field).
4–6 years of program or project management experience, preferably in construction, clean energy, or energy performance contracting.
PMP certification preferred.
Experience with HVAC, solar, or multi-scope construction projects is a strong plus.
Proficiency with tools such as Salesforce, Asana, Smartsheet, or Procore.
