Job title: Product Analyst

Location: London Area, United Kingdom (Hybrid)

The Green Recruitment Company are delighted to have exclusively partnered with a forward-thinking cleantech innovator, shaping the global distributed energy market with their unique energy storage optimisation & monitoring product suite.

As part of their continued success in BESS optimisation software, they are looking for a versatile candidate to join the product team as a Product Analyst, with both quantitative and qualitative analytical capabilities. This individual will have the key responsibility of identifying & developing market opportunities by analysing different propositions for key players in the Energy Storage sector.

This role provides the rare opportunity to join a growing cleantech scaleup, that will also provide all the training & support required to progress into Product Management!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out market research of targeted customer segments to fulfil their product strategies.

  • Share market knowledge, research, & insights – acting as a product & market champion.

  • Develop & maintain a map of target customers’ supply chain to increase market knowledge.

  • Generate P&L for BESS IPP including revenue & supply chain costs to support ROI & sales activities.

  • Hold accountability for competitor analysis to ensure USPs are upheld.

  • Support the product team in setting goals, measures & KPIs for product launches.

  • Assist in ensuring the product roadmap is upheld and up to date.

Requirements:

  • Proven qualitative & quantitative analytical abilities surrounding market & customer data.

  • Strong technical capabilities from a STEM education background or technical working experience.

  • > 1-year experience surrounding BESS, energy trading software, energy management software, or flexibility markets – with a good understanding of cleantech & renewable technologies.

  • Interest/experience in product teams, to progress into product management.

  • Ability to communicate with internal & external stakeholders (written & verbal).
