Job description

​My client are a global player in the offshore wind field – they are involved in the development of some of the most exciting offshore wind projects. They are looking for a Procurement Manager to join their international team.

You will be responsible for all Project Procurement activities for international offshore wind projects. You will deliver in line of business targets and in accordance with highest professional standards of procurement practices.

Your Tasks:

  • Being the main procurement interface for the Development & Construction teams.

  • Providing and implementing Project Procurement strategies for regions/countries and single projects

  • Being responsible for negotiations of wind turbine supply agreements, balance of plant agreements and service maintenance agreements for projects within area of responsibility

  • Managing the interfaces to the Category Procurement teams for WTG and modules to ensure Global Category strategies reflect demands of business area

  • Establishing a catalogue structure by country for main cost items for pre-FID requests for main cost drivers.

  • Conducting supplier development/Performance reviews for core suppliers within area of responsibility

  • Ensuring resource planning & management in line with project demands

Your Profile:

  • University degree in economics, engineering, or natural sciences or alternative path of education

  • Several years of working experience in Procurement on an international level including proven leadership-, management- and project management skills

  • Ideally several years of experience in a comparable role in the offshore wind industry

  • Strong strategic and commercial awareness combined with both analytical skills and the ability to drive complex Procurement projects

This role can be remote or hybrid, depending on your location and whether my client have offices in that region.
