Job description
We’re working with a fast-growing renewable energy developer in Ireland that is rapidly expanding its portfolio of wind, solar, and battery storage projects. The company has developed a strong pipeline of over 1 GW across multiple active sites and is focused on greenfield development, driving the country’s transition to clean energy.
They are now seeking an experienced Planning Manager to join their Dublin-based team. You will work in a small, highly collaborative team and play a key role in shaping the planning strategy for new renewable energy projects.
What You’ll Do
Review and quality-control planning applications prepared by external consultants.
Contribute to site prospecting and planning risk assessments for new development opportunities.
Liaise with local authorities, landowners, planning consultants, and internal teams.
Stay current with changes in Irish planning regulations relevant to renewable energy.
Support the development team across the full project lifecycle, from site acquisition through planning consent.
About You
Qualified planner with 3–5 years’ experience, ideally in renewables, infrastructure, or environmental planning.
Strong knowledge of the Irish planning system and experience reviewing consultant-delivered work.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ambitious and eager to grow into broader project development and management responsibilities.
