Job Title: Procurement Manager (Offshore Wind) - 12 Month Contract
Location: Cork, Ireland (Onsite)
Salary: €600 per day
Our client, a leading developer of offshore wind energy, is seeking a Procurement Manager for a 12-month contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement process for offshore wind projects.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement procurement strategies for offshore wind projects.
Identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships.
Manage the procurement process and monitor compliance with contract terms.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and internal procedures.
Prepare reports and make recommendations to the management team.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand and manage the procurement needs of the project.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Procurement Manager in the offshore wind industry.
Excellent knowledge of procurement processes and methods.
Experience working on offshore wind projects.
Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Knowledge of contract law and commercial terms and conditions.
Experience working in a project team.
