About Our Client
Our client is a leading manufacturer specializing in high-precision machinery components. With a strong focus on innovation and quality, they serve global clients across automotive, industrial, and advanced manufacturing sectors.
Responsibilities:
Identify, evaluate, and onboard local suppliers specializing in steel, copper, plating, and packaging materials.
Maintain ongoing communication with suppliers to manage orders, monitor deliveries, and address quality-related concerns.
Conduct regular performance reviews of suppliers and implement improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency.
Lead annual pricing discussions and contract renewals with key suppliers.
Formulate purchasing strategies aligned with production demands and inventory requirements.
Negotiate and finalize procurement agreements to secure cost-effective pricing and reliable delivery timelines.
Oversee order fulfillment, promptly resolving any logistical or operational challenges.
Handle procurement of office equipment and support sourcing activities for production machinery.
Fulfill ad-hoc tasks as directed by senior management to support departmental objectives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline is preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of procurement experience, with a strong preference for candidates experienced in sourcing metal materials (e.g., steel, copper).
Solid understanding of metal raw materials and familiarity with the Hungarian supplier market.
Demonstrated negotiation prowess and interpersonal skills to foster productive supplier relationships.
Excellent organizational abilities, teamwork orientation, and resilience under pressure.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Proficient in English, with the ability to use it as a primary language for business communications.
