About Our Client

Our client is a leading manufacturer specializing in high-precision machinery components. With a strong focus on innovation and quality, they serve global clients across automotive, industrial, and advanced manufacturing sectors.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard local suppliers specializing in steel, copper, plating, and packaging materials.

  • Maintain ongoing communication with suppliers to manage orders, monitor deliveries, and address quality-related concerns.

  • Conduct regular performance reviews of suppliers and implement improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency.

  • Lead annual pricing discussions and contract renewals with key suppliers.

  • Formulate purchasing strategies aligned with production demands and inventory requirements.

  • Negotiate and finalize procurement agreements to secure cost-effective pricing and reliable delivery timelines.

  • Oversee order fulfillment, promptly resolving any logistical or operational challenges.

  • Handle procurement of office equipment and support sourcing activities for production machinery.

  • Fulfill ad-hoc tasks as directed by senior management to support departmental objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline is preferred.

  • Minimum of 3 years of procurement experience, with a strong preference for candidates experienced in sourcing metal materials (e.g., steel, copper).

  • Solid understanding of metal raw materials and familiarity with the Hungarian supplier market.

  • Demonstrated negotiation prowess and interpersonal skills to foster productive supplier relationships.

  • Excellent organizational abilities, teamwork orientation, and resilience under pressure.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Proficient in English, with the ability to use it as a primary language for business communications.
