Job description
A frontrunner in the energy transition space is growing its leadership team and seeking a Chief Engineer to lead the technical execution of one of the nation’s most dynamic on-site power generation projects, located in Millersport, Ohio. This role reports directly to the SVP of Energy Solutions, offering high-level visibility and direct engagement with executive leadership and major industry partners.
What You Offer:
Over 15 years of progressive experience in engineering leadership within the power generation sector.
Demonstrated success managing large-scale infrastructure projects exceeding $1 billion, with deep hands-on knowledge of combined cycle power systems, including gas turbines, steam turbines, HRSGs, and auxiliary systems.
Proven ability to lead engineering activities, manage EPC contractors, and oversee the delivery of technical documentation in line with project requirements.
Strong background in power systems design, plant automation, and regulatory compliance across federal and state agencies (e.g., EPA, FERC).
Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills with a focus on proactive risk management.
Holds a Professional Engineer (PE) license; advanced credentials such as PMP certification are a strong plus.
