The Green Recruitment Company, in collaboration with a prestigious Power Generation client, is seeking an accomplished Process Safety Engineer to join their team on a 6-month contract basis.

Role Overview: As a Process Safety Engineer, your expertise will be pivotal in ensuring the safe and efficient operations of our esteemed client's power generation facilities across multiple locations within the European Union. By leveraging your knowledge, you will contribute to the creation, implementation, and enhancement of process safety protocols, systems, and procedures. Your collaboration with cross-functional teams will be instrumental in identifying potential hazards, mitigating risks, and fostering a culture of excellence in safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive process safety assessments and risk analyses.

• Develop and execute safety strategies, guidelines, and protocols.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate safety considerations into design and operational phases.

• Investigate incidents thoroughly, perform root cause analyses, and propose corrective actions.

• Keep up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices to ensure adherence.

• Provide training and guidance on process safety practices to staff.

• Participate in safety audits and inspections to identify opportunities for improvement.

Requirements:

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.

• Proven track record as a Process Safety Engineer, preferably within power generation or similar sectors.

• In-depth knowledge of process safety standards and practices.

• Strong analytical skills for risk assessment and root cause analysis.

• Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities.

• Familiarity with process safety analysis software.

• Additional certifications in process safety are advantageous.
