Job Description
As a Principal Geotechnical Engineer, you will lead and innovate on various projects that aim to enhance sustainability and efficiency. Your role will include:
Leadership: Direct and mentor a team of geotechnical engineers, promoting a culture of excellence and innovation.
Advanced Site Analysis: Conduct and oversee complex site investigations to ensure the viability and sustainability of engineering solutions.
Design Oversight: Take charge of the geotechnical design aspects of large-scale projects, ensuring all engineering solutions are robust and compliant with both local and international standards.
Project Management: Manage multiple projects from conception through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and project teams, providing clear and actionable insights.
Innovative Problem Solving: Tackle challenging geotechnical problems using innovative solutions that enhance project sustainability and effectiveness.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geology, or a related field.
A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience, particularly in renewable energy or infrastructure projects.
Proven leadership skills and experience in managing engineering teams.
Expertise in the latest geotechnical software and tools.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Legal right to work in the UK.
