Position Overview

Duration: 18-month fixed-term contract
Location: West London
Experience: 2-3 years in energy projects preferred
Salary: £55,000-£65,000 per annum

Job Description

As a Principal Geotechnical Engineer, you will lead and innovate on various projects that aim to enhance sustainability and efficiency. Your role will include:

• Leadership: Direct and mentor a team of geotechnical engineers, promoting a culture of excellence and innovation.

• Advanced Site Analysis: Conduct and oversee complex site investigations to ensure the viability and sustainability of engineering solutions.

• Design Oversight: Take charge of the geotechnical design aspects of large-scale projects, ensuring all engineering solutions are robust and compliant with both local and international standards.

• Project Management: Manage multiple projects from conception through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

• Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and project teams, providing clear and actionable insights.

• Innovative Problem Solving: Tackle challenging geotechnical problems using innovative solutions that enhance project sustainability and effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geology, or a related field.

• A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience, particularly in renewable energy or infrastructure projects.

• Proven leadership skills and experience in managing engineering teams.

• Expertise in the latest geotechnical software and tools.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Legal right to work in the UK.
