Job description
The Opportunity:
Join an international renewable energy transaction infrastructure platform, seeking a PPA and M&A Transaction Manager in Madrid.

The Role:
Your responsibility will be to support and lead the negotiation and execution of long-term corporate and utility PPAs and M&A transactions across Europe.
Lead the negotiation and execution of corporate and utility PPAs, long-term contracts for the sale of Guarantees of Origin, and long-term revenue contracts.
Help to originate and maintain relationships with both buyers and sellers on the platform.
The Individual:
Excellent understanding of complex contract negotiations, ideally within the space of structured energy transactions.
Significant experience in contract documentation and considering the requirements of long-term equity investment and structured finance requirements
Experience leading the negotiation of PPA documentation as well as ancillary documents, such as direct agreements and credit support documents would be advantageous
Strong communication skills, with high capacity to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously and work as part of a transaction team
At least 3 years’ experience in relevant roles, such as at a law firm, in energy m&a, as a PPA or financial advisor or in any power market contract roles, working across numerous European markets
An understanding of European power and broader global energy markets is advantageous
Written and spoken fluency in English
