The Role:

Your responsibility will be to support and lead the negotiation and execution of long-term corporate and utility PPAs and M&A transactions across Europe.

• Lead the negotiation and execution of corporate and utility PPAs, long-term contracts for the sale of Guarantees of Origin, and long-term revenue contracts.

• Help to originate and maintain relationships with both buyers and sellers on the platform.
  

The Individual:

• Excellent understanding of complex contract negotiations, ideally within the space of structured energy transactions.

• Significant experience in contract documentation and considering the requirements of long-term equity investment and structured finance requirements

• Experience leading the negotiation of PPA documentation as well as ancillary documents, such as direct agreements and credit support documents would be advantageous

• Strong communication skills, with high capacity to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously and work as part of a transaction team

• At least 3 years’ experience in relevant roles, such as at a law firm, in energy m&a, as a PPA or financial advisor or in any power market contract roles, working across numerous European markets

• An understanding of European power and broader global energy markets is advantageous

• Written and spoken fluency in English
