​The Opportunity:

The Green Recruitment Company is exclusively representing an Energy Trading company, who are seeking a PPA Originator to join their team in Madrid.

​

The Role:

• Identify and develop opportunities in the Iberian energy market with RES producers, cogeneration plants and potential PPA buyers, creating a good external and internal customer base and expanding the existing customer base.

• Assume responsibility for the pricing of market access services for RES producers, proposals of terms and conditions and negotiation of contracts in coordination with the parties involved.

• Prospecting, negotiation, and execution of PPA purchase contracts with RES producers. Lead the development of the Business Case in collaboration with internal stakeholders and foster the network of Origination relationships in Spain and Portugal.

• Origination of GoOs transactions with RES producers and other players.

• Control, monitor and report on the performance of the existing portfolio of PPAs and third-party assets, as well as monitor regulatory changes affecting the Origination business.

• Participate in the international RES Origination team as well as in internal projects related to the Origination business.

The Individual:

• At least 2 years of experience in the tasks described.

• In-depth knowledge of the Spanish electricity market, as well as extensive experience in negotiating contracts and agreements.

• High level of English.

• Excellent social skills, resolution, results orientation, proactivity and teamwork mentality.
