Package Manager (Foundations) | Offshore Wind | Rotterdam

Located in Rotterdam, this contract position extends over 14 months with a competitive day rate, seeking a professional with a strong background in wind energy or civil engineering.

Position Overview

As a Package Manager for Foundations in Offshore Wind, you will oversee the entire lifecycle of foundation projects for offshore wind turbines. Your role will focus on ensuring the successful delivery of foundation packages from design through to implementation. This includes managing all aspects of engineering, procurement, construction, and installation. Your strategic insight and leadership will drive projects to meet technical specifications, timelines, and budget requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the management and execution of foundation packages for offshore wind projects.

• Coordinate between engineering, procurement, construction, and installation teams to ensure seamless project delivery.

• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.

• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental laws and regulations.

• Facilitate communication between all project stakeholders, including vendors, contractors, and clients.

• Implement risk management strategies and ensure all potential issues are addressed proactively.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• 2-4 years of experience in wind energy or civil engineering, with specific knowledge in offshore wind foundations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.

• Strong project management skills with proven ability to lead complex projects.

• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams.

• Proficiency in project management software and tools.

Location

This position is based in Rotterdam, offering the chance to be part of one of Europe’s leading hubs for offshore wind development.

Compensation

The position offers a day rate of €700.

Contract Duration

The contract will last for 14 months, with potential for further extension depending on project needs and performance.
