TGRC, a specialist in renewable energy recruitment, is currently seeking an experienced Package Manager with a focus on electrical systems for a prestigious offshore wind project in Hamburg. This pivotal role offers an attractive salary equivalent to €113,000 per annum and is available as a fixed-term 12-month contract.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the electrical package of the offshore wind project, ensuring all components are in line with technical specifications, project timelines, and budgetary guidelines.

• Coordinate closely with engineers, project stakeholders, suppliers, and contractors to ensure seamless integration and execution of electrical systems.

• Manage all aspects of the electrical package from design through to implementation, including oversight of procurement, installation, and commissioning activities.

• Lead regular project meetings to provide updates, drive project milestones, and facilitate the resolution of technical challenges.

• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, maintaining the highest standards of safety and efficiency.

Requirements:

• Proven track record as a Package Manager or in a similar role within the offshore wind industry, with a strong focus on electrical engineering.

• In-depth knowledge of electrical systems related to wind energy, including high-voltage systems, power distribution, and grid integration.

• Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex projects in challenging environments.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English. Proficiency in German is highly beneficial.

• Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
