Job Title: Owners Representative - Offshore Wind (Freelance)
Location: Japan
Pay Rate: $400-$600 per day
Our client, a leading renewable energy company based in Japan, is seeking an experienced Owners Representative to oversee the construction and commissioning of their offshore wind farm project. This is a freelance position, and the successful candidate will be responsible for representing the interests of the project owner throughout the entire project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
• Act as the primary point of contact between the project owner and all other stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities.
• Ensure that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Manage all aspects of the project, including engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
• Monitor the progress of the project and provide regular updates to the project owner.
• Manage any risks or issues that arise during the project and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Ensure that all project documentation is up to date and compliant with relevant regulations.
Requirements:
• A minimum of 10 years' experience in the offshore wind industry, with at least 5 years' experience in a similar role as Owners Representative.
• Strong project management skills and a track record of successfully delivering offshore wind projects.
• A thorough understanding of the regulatory environment for offshore wind projects in Japan.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• A degree in engineering or a related field.
