Job description
Job Title: Onshore Wind Site Safety Supervisor
Location: Oregon, USA
Contract: 12-month contract with possibility of extension
Pay Rate: $45-$65 per hour (depending on experience)
Our client, an Onshore Wind Engineering Contractor in Oregon, is seeking an experienced Site Safety Supervisor to join their team on a 12-month contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing safety procedures and practices on onshore wind projects and ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement safety procedures and practices for onshore wind projects, ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards
Oversee safety training and education for project personnel, including contractors and subcontractors
Monitor and report on safety performance, including incident rates and corrective action plans
Conduct safety audits and inspections of onshore wind project sites, identifying potential hazards and making recommendations for improvement
Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and industry organizations
Ensure that all safety-related documentation is maintained and up-to-date
Requirements:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in safety management or a related field, with specific experience in the onshore wind industry
Strong knowledge of safety procedures and practices for onshore wind projects, including OSHA regulations and industry standards
Experience developing and implementing safety programs and procedures
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Fluent in English
