​Job Title: Onshore Wind Site Safety Supervisor

Location: Oregon, USA

Contract: 12-month contract with possibility of extension

Pay Rate: $45-$65 per hour (depending on experience)

Our client, an Onshore Wind Engineering Contractor in Oregon, is seeking an experienced Site Safety Supervisor to join their team on a 12-month contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing safety procedures and practices on onshore wind projects and ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement safety procedures and practices for onshore wind projects, ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards

  • Oversee safety training and education for project personnel, including contractors and subcontractors

  • Monitor and report on safety performance, including incident rates and corrective action plans

  • Conduct safety audits and inspections of onshore wind project sites, identifying potential hazards and making recommendations for improvement

  • Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and industry organizations

  • Ensure that all safety-related documentation is maintained and up-to-date

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in safety management or a related field, with specific experience in the onshore wind industry

  • Strong knowledge of safety procedures and practices for onshore wind projects, including OSHA regulations and industry standards

  • Experience developing and implementing safety programs and procedures

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Fluent in English
