Responsibilities:

• Take overall responsibility for the offshore wind project site, ensuring efficient project execution within specified timelines, budget, and quality standards.

• Lead and manage the site team, including engineers, technicians, and subcontractors, providing guidance, supervision, and support.

• Coordinate with various stakeholders, such as suppliers, contractors, and local authorities, to ensure effective collaboration and adherence to project requirements.

• Oversee the implementation of health, safety, and environmental protocols, ensuring compliance with regulations and fostering a culture of safety on-site.

• Monitor and control project progress, identifying any potential risks or issues and implementing mitigation measures as necessary.

• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and contractual requirements.

• Provide technical expertise and troubleshooting assistance to address any construction-related challenges or deviations.

• Collaborate with the project management team to prepare and present progress reports, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and recommendations.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager in the offshore wind industry or a related field.

• In-depth knowledge of offshore wind construction and installation processes, including foundation installation, turbine installation, and cable laying.

• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams effectively.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

• Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and project plans.

• Demonstrated commitment to safety and a thorough understanding of health and safety regulations.

• Flexibility to work in challenging offshore conditions and travel as required.

• Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is essential.

Remuneration: This is a contract role with a duration of 18 months. The successful candidate will receive a competitive pay rate ranging from USD $55-77 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
