Offshore Wind Sales Specialist

A leading consultancy within the global energy industry is recruiting an Offshore Wind Sales Specialist to support their growth ambitions within the Energy Transition space and help them drive their business efforts across their Offshore Wind offering. The primary focus of this role will be to identify relevant businesses to work with as well as building on existing opportunity pipeline. The role requires strong knowledge of the Offshore Wind sector, as well as a background in sales, business development or consultancy.

This is a commercial leadership role comprising business management, sales, strategy and stakeholder management.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Main objective is to grow the business’ offshore renewable energy market share and customer base. You would be required to do this using a variety of business development techniques.

  • Identify relevant companies and contacts to engage with to build upon their existing opportunity pipeline and grow their revenues

  • Agree sales and development targets and be responsible for delivery against targets

Key Requirements for the role:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 4+ years of experience in offshore wind sales/ business development/ consultancy

  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills

  • Excellent knowledge of and network within offshore wind industry

  • Accurately report on progress and challenges, issues and opportunities encountered

  • Build and maintain good relationships with partners and key stake holders

  • Attend and speak at industry events

  • Knowledge of Salesforce CRM system is a bonus
