​Job Title: Offshore Wind Contract Manager (Foundations)

Location: France

Contract: 6-12 month contract with possibility of extension

Pay Rate: €600 per day

Our client, a leading Offshore Wind Developer in France, is seeking an experienced Contract Manager (Foundations) to join their team on a 6-12 month contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing contracts related to the design, fabrication, and installation of offshore wind turbine foundations.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of contract strategies for the design, fabrication, and installation of offshore wind turbine foundations

• Manage the tendering process for foundation contracts, including the development of tender documents, the evaluation of bids, and the negotiation of contracts with suppliers and contractors

• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and contractors, ensuring that they deliver on their contractual obligations

• Work closely with project management and engineering teams to ensure that foundation contracts are aligned with project requirements and timelines

• Monitor and report on contract performance, including cost savings and supply chain risk

• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies

Requirements:

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in contract management or a related field

• Strong knowledge of contract management processes and techniques, including tendering, negotiation, and supplier management

• Experience in the renewable energy industry, preferably in the offshore wind sector and specifically with offshore wind turbine foundations

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Fluent in French and English
