Mobile Water Treatment Technician

Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and reliable Water Treatment Technician to join a dynamic technical team. In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out water hygiene and treatment services across multiple sites, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and internal standards.
You will play a key role in delivering both planned maintenance and remedial work, while building strong relationships with clients on-site. This position requires someone who is organised, customer-focused, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a wider support team.
Key Responsibilities
Service Delivery
Perform routine water hygiene tasks such as temperature checks, water sampling, and system monitoring
Carry out cleaning and disinfection of water systems, including tanks and cooling towers
Service and maintain TMVs (Thermostatic Mixing Valves)
Conduct testing, analysis, and chemical dosing within water systems
Complete both scheduled and reactive maintenance tasks
Client Engagement
Act as a primary on-site contact for clients
Respond promptly to service requests and queries
Accurately complete service reports and documentation
Compliance & Quality
Ensure all work is completed in line with relevant health, safety, and environmental standards
Maintain accurate site records and compliance logbooks
Follow company procedures, including risk assessments and safe systems of work
Operational Support
Work closely with scheduling and technical teams to deliver services efficiently
Assist with site coverage when required
Manage workload effectively and meet deadlines
Administration & Finance
Submit timesheets, expenses, and purchase records accurately and on time
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum of 1 year’s experience in water hygiene or water treatment services
Practical experience with TMV servicing, water sampling, and system disinfection
Familiarity with closed-loop systems, including testing and chemical dosing
Good understanding of relevant regulations and guidelines (e.g. L8, HSG274, and water byelaws)
Strong organisational and time management skills
Confident communication and customer service abilities
Comfortable using digital tools or handheld devices for reporting
