Job description

​Our Client a leading global Bank is looking to hire a Managing Director, Head of Integrated Energy.

The focus will be to lead the strategic energy transition conversations with the client base across with the aim of positioning the Bank for mandates, and debt and equity product opportunities. You will help set the strategic direction for the cross-sector and cross-regional collaboration on transition topics, as well as the build out of New Energy Technologies coverage.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop existing and prospective global client relationships across the European portfolio.

  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of the issues and drivers of the sector

  • Take responsibility for ideas generation to maximise income generation, cross sell opportunities, and return on risk capital.

  • Provide insights and a narrative (macro views) on disruptive energy tech (including electric transportation), sustainable fuels (bio-refining/biofuels), renewable energy, global hydrogen strategies markets, and CCUS.

  • Collaborate with product (corporate and investment bank) and credit teams in Europe and globally.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • Subject matter expert in energy, oil & gas, and the energy transition with an extensive network across the c-suite of the energy & utilities universe. More specifically, has a proven track record of interacting with c-suite/divisional heads within the New Energy Technologies universe (small to large cap).

  • Has a track record in participating and/or orchestrating external and internal sector forums,

  • Is able to build multi-energy transition opportunities and create direction for the New Energy coverage portfolio.

  • Collaborator and team player with excellent communication skills.
