My client is eager to hire a Manager/Director of Project Finance in Boston who will take ownership of financial transactions.
The company provides renewables financial advisory services. They have projects across the U.S., Europe, Africa, and Australia in wind, solar, and storage. They have over 125 GW of renewable capacity and have worked with major renewable firms such as ENGIE, EDF, Macquarie, and Siemens.
This is an amazing opportunity to get exposure to a wide range of renewable technologies for a leading, global financial advisory firm.
The Role:
Ownership of advisory missions
Working closely with clients, banks, investors and other key stakeholders
Supervising financial analysts on the development and management of financial models and cash flow valuations for renewable energy projects
Overseeing due diligence processes including work prepared by other advisors
Gathering of market intelligence on sectors of interest to the company such as electricity markets, debt markets or venture capital markets
Being active in sharing knowledge, building networks and support business development
Active participation in an entrepreneurial, international and dynamic team focused on making projects happen and going the extra mile for the client
The Individual:
Masters or similar degree, preferably in Finance or Engineering, 8+ years of relevant work experience, and a big passion for renewables
Strong analytical skills and the ability to learn on the go
A sound understanding of – and interest in – financial concepts and instruments
Ability to communicate complex ideas with ease and simplicity
The agility to work in a fast-paced environment
Initiative, ownership and accountability for allocated tasks
The ability to work in cross-border teams with a willingness to travel abroad
Empathy and willingness to understand the needs and aspirations of relevant stakeholders
Professional experience in the renewable energy sector (specifically hydrogen, energy storage) and corporate finance will be considered highly favorably
